100-500mm and 500-1000mm Nikon lenses

Dear Nikon,

I am extremely disappointed in your appearance this year at Photokina, especially the announcements of new lenses - one new prime and even that was not nano coated. And cameras, nothing new. Personally I would have like to have seen a D3x, D700x and D300x all with 24-30 mp and movie capabilities. Disappointing. Anyway here goes.

I would like to see you upgrade the AF VR Zoom-Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED (5.0x) lens and expend the line to included a 100-500mm lens and 500-1000mm offering. of course, keeping a similar price point.

Very very disappointed with the 2008 Nikon appearance at Photokina.
