Thank you for updating D40 firmware,to improve battery life.

Nikon 135mm f/2

Dear Nikon,

As an indoor sports shooter I'm requesting an update to one of your mid length telephoto primes, the 135mm f/2. We indoor shooters want a 135mm AF-S f/1.8 or f/2 w/ VR to match the speed of your latest bodies. Your competitors have done it so now it's time to make a better version.

Nikon speed flash SB-29

Dear Nikon,

I was very disappointed when you dropped the Nikon speed flash SB-29.

I wish you would reintroduce this flash line. I really liked this line of micro flashes

Nikon Fabre Photo EX microscope

Dear Nikon,

Please make the Nikon Fabre Photo EX microscope available for sale in the US. It seems that this product will be release only in Japan (source MicroscoPhoto.com).

Thanks

Nikon D40 with AEB

Dear Nikon,

I am a new owner of a D40 and to tell you the truth, I like everything
about it except that it is missing AEB. Why would you force a user to
pay more money for a feature that can easily be implemented through a
firmware update. I understand charging users more money for better
senors or optics but more money for software is not cool. I hope that
AEB can be integrated in the next firmware, and by doing so you will
prove that you are listening to your customers and meeting their needs

Thanks in advance.

Nikon D3x + video

Dear Nikon
If you really want to sell the the D3X and create some separation from the D3, please include the following -

- 1080p HD Video capability with 60, 30 and 24 fps.

- An OLED swing out monitor for LiveView and playback.

- Ability to record sound in stereo and 5.1 with external mics.

- Auto focus while shooting footage.

- Ability to lock aperture while shooting footage.

- Ability to shoot footage to a tethered laptop.

- Ability to shoot footage, playback and focus via remote.

- Ability to write stills and footage to SDXC cards.

- Footage compressed with h.264 codec.

Thank you,

Nikon Micro 4/3

Dear Nikon,

I would like to see a new Nikon Micro 4/3 camera that can use regular Nikon DX lenses and record HD video. I am looking at the Testfreaks Nikon ratings of the latest released cameras and the Nikon D90 is rated 10 out of 10 and the Nikon D3x is rated 9 out of 10. I would like to see a Nikon 4/3 camera with similar user's feedback and ratings - as you can see from the ratings the video in the D90 was a hit, so why not include it in a smaller body?

Thanks.
P.Z.

I don't want to have to buy the Canon 5D mark II

Dear Nikon,

I need quality video and stills in one device.
I sold my D90 some time ago because of the crappy compression.

Now the longer I look at the quality video mode of the Canon 5D mark II
and the longer you wait with an answer the more I'm forced to buy the
Canon 5D mark II. I really don't want to buy it but what else can I do?

Please give me a choice and please offer it soon!

M.K.
